Jason Scott Quinn AEA/SAG

Jason has performed as an actor in the New York Theatre (Gorilla Rep, Faux-Real Theatre Company, Circle in the Square Professional Workshop), Regional Theatre (Triad Stage, Florida Rep, American Stage, Mill Mountain, Florida Studio Theatre), Film/TV (The Bros., One Tree Hill), and in numerous commercials performing with such celebrities as Jeff Gordon, Jake Delhomme, and the Travelocity Roaming Gnome. Jason has performed improv and sketch comedy at the Magnet Theater, the Peoples Improv Theater, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and DSI Comedy Theater, where he performed with several house teams including the long running MISTER DIPLOMAT.  Jason currently performs at Magnet Theater with Double Date and Megawatt house team, Grappler and at the PIT on the musical house team, Frogmen. Jason has taught improv comedy and acting classes or workshops for DSI Comedy Theater, Florida Studio Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, American Stage, The University of South Florida, and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jason has been awarded the BA in Theatre from The University of South Florida, the MFA in Acting and the MA in Communication Studies from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the Certificate in Acting from The Circle in the Square Theatre School. He received his improv training from The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, DSI Comedy Theater, and the Magnet Theater.

Current Projects   Jason can be seen performing improv comedy with Magnet Theater's house team, "Grappler" on Wednesday nights at 7 pm as a part of the Megawatt lineup.  Check out www.magnettheater.com for more details.   Jason can be seen performing on The PIT's musical improv house team, "Frogmen" on Thursday nights at 8 pm opening on February 9th.            Jason's upcoming improv performances with Double Date include:  February 4th and 25th at Magnet Theater, NYC, February 17th at 7:30 at DSI Comedy Theater in Carrboro, NC as a part of the North Carolina Improv Festival, and in late March as a part of the NY Improv Festival.
